Learner Inclusion

Our approach to learner support and inclusion

Every learner is different, and we recognise that some students may need additional arrangements to participate fully in their studies or to perform at their best in assessments.

If you have a disability, long-term health condition, specific learning difference, or any other circumstance that affects your learning, we encourage you to speak with us. We will work with you to put appropriate support in place — at no cost, in complete confidence, and without judgement.

Your success matters to us, and we are committed to ensuring every learner has an equal opportunity to thrive.

Confidential

Online & in person

No diagnosis needed

Support, built in from the start

You do not need a formal diagnosis to access support, and you are only ever asked to share what you feel comfortable disclosing. Under the Equality Act 2010, BHEA is committed to making reasonable adjustments to ensure that no learner is placed at a disadvantage due to a disability or individual circumstance.

Rather than treating support as an afterthought, we embed it into the learner experience from the outset — so that the right provisions are in place before they are needed, not after.

At BHEA, everyone is welcome

Whether learning online or in person, anywhere in England, every learner has the right to access an environment that is welcoming, respectful and free from discrimination. Disability, additional learning needs, language, background, age, faith or identity should never limit opportunities, achievement or future success.
